Hey ya’ll. Sorry for being out of the loop over the past month. My Dad, err, I have been super busy, with what you ask? Well, glad you asked.

Like the title says, if my planned career in medicine doesn’t work out, thinking of opening a moving company. Got my vehicle already contracted and if I average a haul this size for a family of 4, I can more than likely move them within 16 years. Enjoy peeps, another post soon to come …

Thanks to Mama Rita and Opa Ralph, my UCLA gear is shinning bright down in soccer land. I threw it on for an inaugural outing to where else, the fish market!

Hi peeps, been a busy past couple weeks. Multiple b-days which had our schedules jam packed. The upright who actually carried me for 9 months (she reminds the other upright of that little known fact quite frequently) had her b-day on the 11th. But we ended up celebrating a week or so later. Upright with the larger feet presented a night at a new hotel so we packed up the supplies and headed out.

We first took in some old re-runs of Two and a Half Men …

Inspired by Mr. Sheen we sought out some beverages for the upcoming evening …

White powder on the desk isn’t what you’re thinking. We didn’t take all of Charlie’s recommendations for a stellar evening.

Fun day and evening, and keeping with the b-day trajectory we celebrated mine (May 30th) this weekend by hitting the beach. First stop was our favorite hole in the wall seafood joint on the coast – La Gatita

After some good eats we hit la playa.

I then spotted some dudes to play with.

And a free kayak.

So I headed off with some other guy I met.

My parents encourage me to socialize with strange 57 year old male kayakers.

Kayak Jose though left me in the dust.

Hey all, winter has officially arrived down here. Probably a shock considering you all are more than likely baking up north. It’s been a welcome relief to the crazy summer we had and can’t wait to hit the slopes once my rubbery worm appendages can support my chubby frame.

Prior to the snow we took advantage a couple days earlier to head out to the center of town, do a little shopping in places  that don’t have a Banana Republic or whatever latest frozen yogurt is being consumed currently. As such, we came across this little gal, appropriately named Maria Antoinette, we didn’t ask questions …

I wasn’t crying out of fear, she smelled like she hadn’t bathed in 10 days, err, years. Good times though. I then headed off to the park a couple days later to put in some well deserved slinky time. Great de-stresser by the way.

I’ve been looking for a new flame ever since my last break-up. This short glass of milk arrived just in time …

She had an Ellen DeGeneres vibe so not too sure she was interested in yours truly. As you can see I’ve had my hands full. Hopefully the next couple weeks will yield the same action-packed adventure! Ciao pescados, Michael

So for X-mas my grandparents gave Mom and Dad a weekend away from the hustle and bustle, a romantic break if you will which I got the distinct feeling I would not be part of the equation. This didn’t sit well, so I have been doing everything in my power to crash this party for two and be the ever-present third wheel only I can be. Of course it worked, I am very persistent …

The original plan, based on what I could glean hacking into Dad’s email, was for those two to skip town leaving me with who knows, on the street, under the watchful eyes of an old owl or a gang of rabid bunnies!! Not if I have anything to say about it. They put me down quickly though with my liquid white heroin while they munched away on Spanish tapas.

That night I was left to wander my new surroundings in our home away from home …

It was all very new and quite confusing …

Next day we headed out early with my older, and only friend really, Trip from Houston.

Swim class, my first such class, and while I look calm here it didn’t go so well on my end.

Teacher was freaking me out but the parents are insisting we come back next Saturday. We’ll see if my eyes produce water again next week. In any event, I enjoyed my time much more with Mom back at the hotel.

Pops ended the day in style while I opted for a nap over a glass of vino blanco …

All in all, successful, restful weekend for all and we can’t thank Papa Ralph and Mama Rita enough! See ya’ll soon, 6 more months! Mike

Something odd has been surfacing over the past week, me brain has been sending messages to me legs to straighten and support my chubby frame thereby enabling me a new perspective on life. I freaked my parents out the other day when they awoke to find me like them, upright …

It’s downright creepy, especially the way I need the extra support with my mouth.

These little white stones have also been growing on the bottom of my gums so putting my mouth around pretty much everything these days is plain awesome.

Before heading out to test out me legs, Pops prepped me by filing my nails. I don’t know what this had to do with walking, but frankly, what choice do I have …

Hit the lawn for a little one on one with me legs.

All in all, pretty wild developments. I was a bit tired that night, something my parents seem overly thrilled with. More to come as hopefully next week I’ll be driving. Ciao pescados … Mike

Good times, got some new cousins I had never met in town from Buenos Aires. Che, our meat, wine and music is superior, back off Chile! Yeah, whatever, we got mariscos and salmon up in here, keep steppin back over the Andes!
